A case of tooth wear and self-reported local anaesthetic insensitivity in a patient with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

Doi:10.4483/JDOH_016Tabiat-Pour04

Abstract - Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a disorder of connective tissue structure and is characterised by several subtypes. Some of these subtypes may have implications for dental management of these patients. A rare reported sequelae is that of non-effective local anaesthesia in hypermobility (Type III) Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. A case is presented here where the patient self-reported non-effective local anaesthesia.
