Assessment of the quality of oblique lateral radiographs taken for Special Care Dentistry patients – a service evaluation
Abstract
Introduction: Oblique lateral radiographs can be a useful technique in identifying and diagnosing dental pathology
when orthopantomograms and intra-oral radiographs are not feasible for a variety of reasons. A service evaluation
was completed to determine the use and quality of oblique lateral radiographs taken in a department of Special
Care Dentistry.
